Insecure Blogger

Today Jason and I were talking about my new blog and I told him how difficult it was for me to write.  It is a real struggle for me to put my thoughts down.   I am constantly editing or second guessing myself.  He(Jason) said well whats the use if youre writing like that?  <sigh>  I am hoping I will get better after a while.

Asher and coyotes

One day we were headng to Nanies aka Lanas house.  While on the way we saw a dead coyote or some animal that looked like a coyote.  Well the boys got excited.  So now when anyone...and I mean anyone that leaves and we say goodbye, Asher has to tell them to not get the coyotes.  He has been saying this for some time now and now the bad wolfs have joined.

" No coyotes, no bad wolves!"

Conversations with Aaron

Lst week we were talking about the moon and I asked him about where the moon goes during the day.  He proudly said, "The moon is nocturnal!"

9 years sure fly by!

WEll here we sit.  I am pooped from a gaggle on kids weilding marshmallow guns and Jason is snoring on the couch.   It is hard to believe that our firstborn is 9 years already.  He is a smart, funny, kindhearted, helpful young man.  I am so proud of the person he is.  I am so thnkful that God chose to bless us with Andrew.

Tomorrow he will be 9.  Where have the years gone?  I still remember the day we brought him home.  It was a Saturday and the sun was shining.  It was the most beautiful September day.  Jason drove us home while I sat in the back with our new precious treasure.  All of a sudden a feeling of dread washed over me.  I realized that I wouldnt have the nurses to help me if something went wrong.  It was all up to me and Jason to keep this new person alive.

Tomorrow we will have birthday boy pancakes and turkey bacon.  We will sing "Happy Birthday" lots of times.
Happy Birthday Andrew!

Mama and Daddy love you so much!

Kids Day at the Fair

Well we went to the little rodeo this morning.  My little guys loved it!  I think Aaron was very impressed with the barrel racing!  There was one little girl that was 5 years old.  She looked like a little rag doll being tossed about on that horse!  Asher has been talking about the cowboys all day.  He loved it! We bought corn dogs after we saw the dairy demonstration and the barnyard.  I bought 5 corndogs and the nice fair lady put all of them in a box and then we squirted ketchup oin the corner of the box.  We started walking to the picnic area and then I looked back to make sure all of my little ducks were following me.  I saw Asher carrying the big bottle of ketchup.  He wanted to bring it with us.  He thinks he is so big.  We laughed all the way to the picnic table.
